The room we had was gorgeous and spotless with wonderful views as well as excellent bed. Location: the hotel was very close to the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, a vineyard and Paarl and the region. And it was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Die Vonds Snake Park.

Arriving was like being welcomed by friends, with cozy breakfast by the fireplace and fresh, well-selected ingredients. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay, with a splash pool and private BBQ area. The evenings were lively with wine tastings of outstanding quality red wines. The location had picturesque views of the mountains and peaceful countryside.
We wished we had stayed longer and the room could use insect screens for the windows and doors to keep out mosquitoes. There were occasional power outages and water interruptions, which affected showering and dining plans.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tempel Wines! The room was perfect for us, with a gorgeous view of the vineyards from our private terrace. The air-conditioned room had everything we needed, including a desk, coffee machine, and a comfy bed. It was the ideal room for a luxurious getaway in a stunning location.
If I had to pick one thing, I'd say the minibar was a bit on the pricey side. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I know some people still enjoy having a well-stocked minibar.

Our stay at Tempel Wines was absolutely wonderful. The warm welcome we received made us feel like old friends rather than guests. The cozy breakfasts by the fireplace were a delight, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious ingredients to choose from. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the view of Paarl mountain from the splash pool was breathtaking. The wine tasting in the evenings was a lively and enjoyable experience, and we were impressed by the outstanding quality of their red wines. we highly recommend Tempel Wines for a peaceful and indulgent countryside getaway.
The lack of insect screens and mosquito nets in the room resulted in a large number of mosquitoes entering. Additionally, the frequent power cuts caused inconvenience with no electricity or water at times.
